Thursdays at the Figge
Enjoy Thursdays at the Figge each week at the museum! Enjoy a drink at the bar while watching the eagles soar over the majestic Mississippi River. Stroll through galleries filled with art and experience one of our world-class traveling exhibitions. Join us for a lecture, a class, a performance or a special activity. Meet friends or bring your family—every Thursday at the Figge will offer a different experience, and admission is free. Most Thursdays begin at 5 p.m. with a cash bar and light snacks.

Fun for Foodies with Chef Dave Mickelwright
Heart of America features Figge Executive Chef Dave Mickelwright from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Figge Art Museum’s Riverview Dining Room. Learn, taste and enjoy during this cooking class and dinner hosted by Chef Dave. Dinner features roast pork dijon en croute, and you will learn how it is prepared! The presentation, dinner and two glasses of house wine are available at $40/ person, tax and gratuity included, cash bar available. Grab your spouse, significant other or best friend for a special couple’s price of $75/couple. Each guest will receive a special gift to remember the evening and will be eligible to win a door prize! Project Greenspace: Street Art on the Plaza
Come one, come all and party on the Figge Plaza for Project Greenspace: Street Art on the Plaza (insert link to flyer). At 5 p.m., amazing graffiti and mural artists Kevin Lonergan II, Gary White and NTC DBC will demonstrate their art form and invite the public to join in. Music will be provided by Fire Sale. Items from the Figge Grill and sides will be available for purchase. Grab a cold beer, water, soda or glass of wine to go with your favorite item in a bun! Bring your own lawn chair to enjoy our made-it-green-with-AstroTurf space and enjoy the music, art and smells from the grill!

5:30-6:30 pm Zumba Fitness combines Latin and international music with a fun and effective workout system. This program is offered in conjunction with the Figge’s participation in the Let’s Move! Museums & Gardens initiative launched by First Lady Michelle Obama.
