Annual Giving

A vibrant art museum serving a thriving, dynamic community.

The days of the static art museum are gone. The 21st century museum is a learning center, emphasizing interactive audience experiences. Outreach and accessibility play prominent roles. Events such as lectures, receptions, film presentations, and dance and musical performances are all part of the museum's offerings alongside learning opportunities and world-class art exhibitions.

This is the Figge Art Museum. Your art museum.
Imagine the possibilities.

“Kids get bombarded with the idea that the only important things are reading, writing, and math. People forget that this country and great companies like John Deere were founded on creativity. Creativity is the foundation of our country’s economic success. We need to inspire children to create.”

Doug Roberts
Global Director, Combines and FEE, Deere & Company

At the Figge Art Museum, we truly believe that Art is for Everyone! Whether it’s the outstanding display of Depression-era works in the current 1934: A New Deal for Artists exhibition, or the hands-on art activities we provide to more than 13,000 schoolchildren each year through our Big Picture Outreach Program, our mission is to bring art in all its forms to residents of the Quad Cities and surrounding region.

How do we fulfill our mission?

More than 20 traveling exhibitions are scheduled this year, each with exciting gallery talks and events for art lovers of all ages. We also partner with 26 community organizations, eight colleges and nine local school districts to provide interactive and engaging experiences that connect art to the real world.

To continue to build our programs and uphold our status as the region’s premier visual arts venue, we ask you to support the Figge’s Annual Fund.

You, as donors, enable us to offer world-class exhibitions, expand our outreach programs and make art accessible to everyone. Please help us by investing in the continued growth of the Figge!

If you already are a supporter, please consider increasing your contribution to help us do more! For more information on the Annual Fund, call Raelene Pullen at 563.345.6637.

On behalf of our Board of Trustees, staff, volunteers and the thousands of visitors we serve each year, we extend our sincere thanks and gratitude for your continued support.
